A cleaning expert has claimed that the order in which you clean your bathroom is extremely important.

Cleaning Corner creates cleaning and organization content on TikTok and has over 320,000 followers.

In a recent video, the account shares tips on how to properly clean a bathroom.

The sweeper revealed, “If you were never taught how to clean properly while growing up, that’s fine.

Starting with the “basics”, a TikTok user said that the first thing a person should do when cleaning a bathroom is to get everything that is out of the way.

“You want to clean the cleanest and dirtiest thing first,” he said.

“So going in this order, you want to go to the sink, the tub, the toilet.”

While cleaning the sink, Poster used a wide brush to go around the faucet.

Choosing to use the Bon Ami Cleansing Power and Scrub Daddy Brush, she said, “Obviously choose whichever cleaning product you prefer.”

To get a streak-free finish on mirrors, the cleaner said to use Sprayway Glass Cleaner.

Next is the tub and the best advice they can give is to invest in a tile scrubber, the poster says.

“It saves you so much time and energy,” he said. “And you don’t have to break your back anymore.”

Last is the toilet and the poster states “It is very important to let your cleaning products sit for the recommended amount of time so that they are properly disinfected.

“So in the meantime, I’m mopping the floor behind the toilet.”

Another life hack in the shared poster is to remember that less is more.

“When cleaning any area around your home, you really want to limit yourself to one to two cleaning products at most.”

After washing everything, the poster fills up the soap dispenser and finally the bathroom is cleaned.

“I hope this helps anyone struggling to clean their space but don’t know where to start,” read the caption.

“I was in your shoes 2 years ago! Follow along and let me help you.”
